Awesome Sci-Fi Art Roundup, #2

Wreck of the Cosmos.jpg

Today’s artwork comes from Wallpaper Abyss. The artist is Li Shuxing, who is a well-known concept artist from Shanghai. You can find his professional ArtStation profile here, and his blog here. The science fiction magazine, Lightspeed (to which I have submitted a couple stories), did an awesome Q&A with him that you can read here.  Go ahead and read it, it’ll really help flesh out the above image for you. One of the neatest things about Li’s works is all the tiny nit-noid details you can find if you zoom in on bits and pieces of the picture. I invite you to do the same.

(P.S. Yes, I know this is more of a fantasy piece of art than sci-fi, but hey, it looks cool. And Li is a famou sci-fi concept artist.)
